The role
A leading agribusiness group is seeking a Senior SAP FM/IM Consultant to provide ongoing functional and technical SAP support, with a primary focus on Funds Management and Investment Management modules. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams across various regions to deliver system improvements, integration solutions, and project support.
- Provide ongoing SAP application technical and functional support, primarily in the area of FM/IM
- Perform detailed systems analysis and propose solutions for system improvements
- Perform hands-on FM/IM configuration
- Work across all aspects of SAP RICEF, including daily operational transactions, reports, interfaces, enhancements, ALE/iDoc, conversions, forms, and Web Dynpro
- Collaborate with team members on SAP application maintenance and IT projects
- Ensure all developments are audit and security compliant in accordance with IT policies and guidelines
- Lead and participate in end-to-end project activities from requirement gathering workshops through Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, training, and production deployment
- Design and develop integration solutions for data exchanges with other IT applications across various regions
- Communicate and work closely with key business stakeholders on systems and process improvements
What we're looking for
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- At least 5 years of hands-on configuration and development experience with SAP FM/IM
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
- Experience in planning, design, development, testing, and release of complex custom objects
- Ability to perform and manage complex developments independently
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural team environment
- Strong analytical ability and data gathering/diagnosis skills
- Good communication and facilitation skills
- Strong ability to understand complex system landscape configurations from an end-to-end perspective
- Knowledge of SAP FI is an advantage
- ITIL knowledge and experience
