Java Developer

A leading enterprise software and IT services company operating in Vietnam and internationally, delivering digital transformation solutions across the Banking, Finance, and Insurance sectors. The company develops a broad portfolio of products spanning paperless workflows, payment processing, document management, e-invoicing, and more. Their teams work on large-scale projects for enterprise clients across multiple industries.

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to join a growing engineering team focused on delivering enterprise-grade solutions for clients in the Banking, Finance, and Insurance domains, as well as cross-industry digital transformation projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for programming, error checking, and reporting to your line manager. You will participate in large-scale projects involving solutions such as payment processing, business process management, document management systems, e-invoicing, agency portals, and recruitment platforms, among others.

You will contribute to developing and maintaining applications built on Java and related technologies, working within an Agile Scrum framework. The role offers exposure to the latest technology platforms and the opportunity to work on both domestic and international projects.

• Bachelor's or college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent

• Knowledge/experience in Finance, Banking & Enterprise domains

• 3+ years of experience in Java development on Linux/Windows platforms

• Experience with Java frameworks: Spring (Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Security), Hibernate

• Experience with web services (RESTful, SOAP) and message queue processing (ActiveMQ, IBM MQ)

• Experience with Java Application Servers and Database Servers

• Proficient in version control systems: Git, SVN

• Good knowledge of object-oriented programming in Java

• Good knowledge of web/application containers (Apache Tomcat, JBoss, IBM WebSphere) and application deployment

• Strong MS SQL Server programming skills (stored procedures, functions, jobs, triggers, views)

• Strong database design and management skills, particularly MS SQL

• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle and Agile Scrum

• Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, React, Flutter, and JavaScript is a plus

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Microservices, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
